OC's D and S in color

lolz! in color! shout out to giving me inspiration on how to color hair. Shouts out to for the idea on the background as well. 　In the lettering at the top you will notice some kanji characters in the center, they say "REIKON"　（霊魂） which to my knowledge stands for Soul, or spirit. And also, if you didn't know beforehand, you will actually see that Sean is indeed Asian, not black. Many people believe him to be a black character when they see him in black and white. I am somewhat glad how this picture turned out seeing that I almost never do any of my drawings in color.

I need much more practice... I believe that i can do better.
I have grown very fond of the painted coloring style. A good example of what im talking about can be found on Shining Force EXA. I saw an add on the game in a Newtype USA magazine. This style of coloring would probably be best for my style of drawing in my belief. I plan to find others to color my work in the meantime while I practice on perfecting my skills. lol
